Liberty’s story is one of quiet strength and resilience. This beautiful gray young mama was living in a difficult and unstable situation when someone threatened to “get rid of all of them” — Liberty and her three kittens — if Pet Paw-See didn’t take them. While pressure like that is never okay, compassion won out, and the Pet Paw-See team stepped in to save the little family and give them the safety they deserved.
Once Liberty realized she and her babies were finally safe, her true personality began to shine. She is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who enjoys affection, loves soft pets, and will happily seek out her people for attention when she feels comfortable. After devoting herself to raising her kittens, Liberty is now ready to enjoy life as a beloved companion instead of a worried mama.
In her foster home, Liberty has shown that she would do best as the only cat in the household. When other cats aren’t around, she actively seeks out human companionship and thrives on one-on-one attention. While she has lived with other cats, the experience has made it clear that sharing her space isn’t her favorite — she’s much happier when she doesn’t have to compete for comfort or resources.
Liberty has also surprised her foster by doing well with the right kind of dog. While she previously struggled around dogs, she now peacefully coexists with a calm, cat-savvy pup, showing that a mellow canine companion could be a good fit.
Personality-wise, Liberty is simply a nice cat — very sweet, non-aggressive, and never a biter. She loves chasing balls and fuzzy mice, and though she’s a little over a year old, she still has plenty of playful, kitten-like moments mixed in with her calm cuddly side.
Liberty is currently in a foster home, soaking up stability and kindness, and waiting for a forever home where she can be the center of someone’s world — a place where she’ll never have to worry again.
