Tex is a handsome medium-haired black kitten with a soft, silky coat and bright, curious eyes that catch the light just right. He was born to a feral mother who was trapped, fixed, and safely returned to her outdoor home, while Tex and his siblings were brought inside to learn that people can be trusted. Though cautious at first, Tex has made great progress and is learning to enjoy the comforts of indoor life — warm beds, tasty treats, and gentle affection.
Tex is still a little shy in new situations, but his curiosity often gets the better of him. He loves to watch his foster siblings play and has started to join in, batting at toys and chasing feathers with growing confidence. When he feels comfortable, he’ll show his sweet, playful personality and may even nuzzle in for a quiet moment of affection.
He would do best in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build trust at his own pace. Having another friendly cat to show him the ropes would be a bonus. Tex is currently in a foster home where he’s learning that people can be pretty wonderful.
No adopters with children under the age of six for the safety of both the kitten and the child.
