Mona

Mona is a beautiful gray, medium-haired kitten with a soft, silvery coat and bright, curious eyes. Her story began when her feral mother was trapped as part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) effort. Her mom was fixed and safely returned to her outdoor home, while Mona and her siblings were brought inside to be given a chance at a better life. From the beginning, Mona has shown both caution and courage — she’s a little shy when meeting new people, but her curiosity always wins out.

Over time, Mona has learned that people bring good things — gentle pets, cozy naps, and tasty treats. She enjoys watching the world from a sunny window and playing with her toys when she thinks no one is looking. She’s still gaining confidence, but each day she takes another brave step forward. With patience, love, and a calm home, she will blossom into a sweet and loyal companion.

Mona would do best in a quieter environment where she can continue to build trust at her own pace, possibly with another gentle cat to help guide her. She is currently in a foster home where she is learning that life indoors is full of kindness and comfort.

No adopters with children under the age of six for the safety of both the kitten and the child.
