Meet Ghost: The Resilient, Regal Tuxedo
Ghost is a stunning long-haired tuxedo cat with thick, velvety fur that feels as soft as a rabbit’s coat. At about 10 months old, he spent half his life overcoming incredible odds—surviving a life-threatening MRSA infection in his joints and enduring surgery to have a pin placed in his left front leg. While he has healed well, his leg still flexes slightly when he walks, giving him a unique, distinguished stride.
Despite his rough start, Ghost is a friendly and social young cat who enjoys meeting new people. He’s not much of a lap cat (yet), but he loves to be in the middle of whatever you’re doing, always curious and engaged. He has a playful streak—especially when water is involved—but he’s also sensitive to sudden noises and prefers a calm environment. If things get too chaotic, he’ll find a quiet hiding spot, but whispering the magic word—“treats”—will usually lure him back out.
Ghost gets along with other cats, but has a bit of a mischievous side and may try to bully those he thinks he can push around. However, he is absolutely petrified of dogs, so a dog-free home is a must.
Ghost is looking for a patient and loving home that will appreciate his unique journey, his regal presence, and his playful, yet sensitive personality. If you’re looking for a companion who will keep you company, supervise your daily activities, and occasionally splash around in the water, Ghost might just be your perfect match!
