**Meet Buddy Bud!**
Buddy Bud is a handsome adult brown tabby with a story of quiet resilience. He showed up at Anderson Steel and spent about three weeks wandering the property—thin, limping, and clearly looking for help. When he was finally caught, it was clear he had been through a lot, but also that he hadn’t given up on people.
Now neutered, fully healed, and safe, Buddy Bud is beginning to rediscover the good things in life—like soft beds, gentle voices, and the magic of treat time. Though still a little shy, this sweet boy is slowly but surely coming out of his shell.
Buddy Bud has some very clear preferences: **he does NOT like dogs** (they really scare him!) and he isn’t much of a fan of other cats either. He enjoys attention and will happily accept pets, but he does not want to be held or treated like a lap cat—he can get defensive and lash out if pushed. What he really loves is playtime! Toys that spark his hunting instinct are his absolute favorite, and they bring out his most joyful and confident side.
Buddy Bud is currently residing in the adoption habitat at Best Friends Animal Hospital. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates a cat with boundaries and loves to play, Buddy Bud might just be your perfect match. Contact us to arrange a visit and meet this unique, spirited boy.
