Meet Kiwi, a handsome black kitten with an even more beautiful personality. Rescued from life outdoors alongside his mother and siblings, Kiwi has discovered that the very best place to be is curled up in someone’s lap.
This sweet boy is currently thriving in a foster home, where he’s become known as the first one to seek out affection. If there’s an open lap, Kiwi will find it. His personal motto seems to be, “Snuggle now, play later.” While he certainly enjoys kitten fun and toys, nothing makes him happier than soaking up love and cuddles from his favorite people.
Kiwi would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a kitten who is as affectionate as he is adorable. He’ll happily remind you every day that the best part of coming home is having a furry friend waiting to curl up with you.
For the safety of both Kiwi and the child, he is available only to homes without children under the age of six.
Think Kiwi might be your perfect match? Please complete our online adoption application so we can help make sure he’s the right fit for your family before scheduling a meet-and-greet.
A note about FIV: Kiwi is currently FIV positive, but that does not necessarily mean he is permanently infected. Because his mother is FIV positive, he may still have his mother’s antibodies, which can cause kittens to test positive even if they are not actually infected. Many kittens born to FIV-positive mothers test negative when they are retested at an older age after those maternal antibodies have disappeared. In the meantime, Kiwi is a happy, healthy kitten living a normal life, and we’d be happy to answer any questions you have about FIV or her future testing.
