Adult Cats, Available For Adoption, Current on Vaccinations, House Trained, Male, Prefers Home without Small Children, Residing at PETSMART, Spayed-Neutered, Young Cats

Meet Briar, a handsome tuxedo boy who was rescued alongside his siblings, during a TNR (trap-neuter-return) project in August 2025, on a vacant property on the northwest side of Great Falls. He was one of 11 kittens rescued from an uncertain future, and rather than being returned to a difficult life outdoors, Briar was given the chance to come into foster care and learn what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for.
Now about a year old, Briar is continuing to come out of his shell. He currently resides at the Great Falls PetSmart habitat with his sibling Bria, where more of his sweet, gentle personality is beginning to shine through. He gets along well with other cats and can also do well with small, calm dogs.
Briar is still very shy in new situations and needs time to build trust, so he is looking for a calm, patient family with experience caring for very shy cats. He would do best in a quiet home without children, where he can settle in at his own pace without feeling overwhelmed.
Briar would love to be adopted with Bria, or into a home with another friendly cat around his age who can help him feel safe and confident. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Briar has so much potential to become a wonderful companion for someone willing to let him set the pace.
